The STIHL FSA86R Cordless Brush Cutter is a professional level tool for performing garden maintenance in the larger garden and in commercial applications.

With an electric motor, the FSA86R is quiet to use. STIHL suggest that you won't need to wear ear defenders whilst using this brush cutter.

The loop handle gives you comfortable grip and an easy range of movement for completing your brush cutting tasks. A space bracket protects the mowing head from damage while in use, as well as helping to protect plants from the mowing head.

Fitted with the STIHL AutoCut C6-2 cutting head giving a 350mm cutting swathe, the mowing line will automatically feed from the head when tapped gently on the ground. When the mowing line has been exhausted, it's easy to refill the head with more.

If you prefer, the AutoCut C 6-2 head with nylon line can be replaced with the PolyCut 6-2 head with plastic blades. The PolyCut 6-2 head is purchased separately.

Battery Information:

The recommended battery for the FSA86R is the AP200S, which provides up to 60 minutes of run time. As part of the STIHL AP System, the FSA86R is compatible with the full range of AP batteries. Maximum working times (based on lowest setting) are:

• AP20 - up to 55 minutes (standard mode) and up to 30 minutes (boost mode)
• AP200S - up to 60 minutes (standard mode) and up to 35 minutes (boost mode)
• AP30 - up to 85 minutes (standard mode) and up to 45 minutes (boost mode)
  
• AP300S - up to 85 minutes (standard mode) and up to 52 minutes (boost mode)
• AP500S - up to 102 minutes (standard mode) and up to 62 minutes (boost mode)
